![]() ![]() It beggars belief that a camera that's so expensive has so many technical (hardware and software) failures and is considered the Gold Standard for this type of gadget. The same for Hero4 and Session lines as well. If you google "GoPro here power on failure" or "GoPro recording failures" you will find a universe of Youtube videos on how people have been trying to work around the failures and masses of complaints on these issues. I got a new one and it worked for a time, but then it started degrading (again). I took it back to the Camera place I bought it from and questioned the girl on returns and she looked at me, rolled her eyes and said "these things are being returned constantly". Recorded a little, then stopped, then froze. Replaced it with the first Hero3+ and it was basically Dead on Arrival. ![]() I had a GoPro Hero 2 Silver - worked perfectly, all the time (until it dropped into the se. These cameras are so hit and miss, all I can say is BUYER BEWARE. I'm on my second one and it's just failed as well. It's such a shame it's so ridulously flakey. ![]() Lots of shooting modes, great speed, fantastic pictures, good audio and a huge ecosystem of supporting components such as mounts and harnesses so you can get that camera onto everything, eveyone and everywhere. This little camera has nearly everything you could want in a sports camera.
